12th March

We started the session reading the texts about Slow food movement on pp.70-71. Every student read one of the texts and reported the information to his/her classmates. Then, answered in  pairs to the comprehension questions.
After that, we read a political leaflet and match the verbs with their definitions and did a word formation exercise. The student learnt how to create nouns form verbs, using endings like -ment, -al, -ion or -ation, and from adjectives, using endings like, -ness, -(i)ty.

We finished the class discussing in groups how we thought a slow town should be.
