During this session we continued working with the reported speech. We started correcting the pending exercises about shopping vocabulary.
Then, we moved to a new section in which we learnt how to report commands and requests.
We studied that the reporting verbs in this kind of sentences is:

 told+ person+to+infinitive

 asked+ person+ to+ infinitive

First, we analysed two sentences and tried to guess the words originally pronounced in a conversation, we wrote some others into reported speech and finally we read the grammar rules on p.140.
After that, we listened to three different people talking about a bbad service and the students answered the comprehension questions (t 6.4)
To practise the new structures we did a role-play activity. The students acted as clients and shop assistants in a complaint.
To fonish, we read the text on p.86, we reordered the paragraphs and answered the vocabulary exercise.

Homework: read the text on p.88, ex.1b,c,d.
