During this lesson we learnt about English manners.
We started reading a postcard and then a text in which a woman expressed the differences between the Russian and the British, in means of politeness.
After reading, the students had to decide if the statements on exercise 4c were true or false and correct the false ones.
Then, we listened to 4 people talking about their experiences while living in England. The ss had to say whether the speakers thought the English were too polite or not and answer some comprehension exercises.
To finish the session, we discussed in groups 5 different situations about manners and read about other strange customs in different countries and say if they were true or not.
